Beertales had the advantage of being positioned as the first and only brewery in Dehradun, but the opportunity was to create a cultural property that could make the brand feel younger, louder, and more connected with the city’s evolving social audience. The goal was not to host another nightlife event, but to build a brand moment that people would remember, attend, and talk about.

Creatikartta shaped the campaign around a simple insight. Today’s audience does not engage with hospitality brands only because of food, drinks, or offers. They respond to experiences that feel expressive, community-driven, and culturally relevant. A rap battle gave Beertales the perfect format to bring music, performance, competition, and crowd energy together under one bold identity.

The creative direction was designed to reflect the pulse of hip-hop culture. The visual language used loud typography, street-style illustrations, vibrant colour contrasts, microphone-led elements, and high-energy compositions to make the campaign instantly noticeable. Every touchpoint was built to feel raw, youthful, and event-first, while still keeping Beertales at the centre of the conversation.

Instead of promoting the event as a regular performance night, the campaign positioned it as a first-of-its-kind experience for the city. This helped create curiosity, social chatter, and stronger intent among audiences who wanted to be part of something fresh. The communication focused on the culture around the event rather than only the event itself, which made the campaign more memorable and shareable.

The result was massive footfall, strong audience engagement, maximum sales, and higher brand buzz for Beertales. What began as a rap battle became a cultural activation that helped the brewery connect with a younger audience and build stronger recall in the city’s nightlife space.

Beertales did not just host an event. It turned hip-hop culture into real brand impact.
